Ethan’s birth also did not go according to plan, and in fact, I ended up having an un-planned c-section, which I share about on this podcast episode. I really believe it’s so important to share stories like these because we often only hear birth stories that are glamourized: the “quick births”, the “unmedicated births” and “the ones that went according to plan”. The truth is that despite parts of the birth being disappointing, I still love my birth and I believe so much of it was really beautiful. Plus, at the end of it all, I ended up with a perfect and special baby boy!\u00a0<\/p>\n
